BB’s Tex-Orleans, 9719 West Broadway: This year, serve Thanksgiving dinner with a bit of Texas-meets-Louisiana flair. This popular café has flavorful meats and sides available for pre-order through 11 a.m. on November 23 for pickup on Thanksgiving day. We advise ordering soon, as BB’s usually sells out. Grab a whole Fried Turkey for $59.99, or a Boudin Rice Stuffed Fried Turkey for $69.99. Both are treated to a house seasoning rub and injected with a house marinade.
Sides are sold cold by the quart for reheating at home. Big Horn BBQ, 2300 Smith Ranch Road: Order holiday dishes through November 24 for pickup on Thanksgiving Day between 8 and 11 a.m. The Family Meal is $139.99 and includes a Whole Turkey in Original or with Cajun-style seasoning, one loaf of Texas Sized Bread, a quart of Cranberry Sauce and a total of two gallons of sides available in half- or one-gallon portions. Options include Sweet Yams, Mashed Potatoes, Green Beans, Mac & Cheese and Dressing & Gravy (gravy is served in pint or quart portions).
Just want the bird? Choose Original or Cajun for $49.99 each that weigh 10 to 14 pounds and feed 5 to 10 people. You can also choose sides a la carte. Order Thanksgiving Packages with all the trimmings that feed from 4 to 30 guests. All packages include Sliced Smoked Turkey Breast with Natural Broth, Sliced Smoked Ham with Sweet Glaze, Homemade Dressing, Cranberry Sauce, Gravy and Dinner Rolls, plus a choice of three sides. There are 14 sides such as New Potato Casserole, Candied Yams, Broccoli/Rice Casserole, Mustard Greens and Corn. The Complete Feast includes a choice of meat plus Cornbread Dressing, Gravy, Baked Potato Casserole, Green Beans with Bacon and 12 Buttery Rolls. It serves 10 to 12 people. Choose Spiral Cut Ham for $115, Prime Rib for $145 or Peppercorn Garlic Prime Rib for $150.
The Dinner Feast is a condensed version, which comes with a choice of meat, Cornbread Dressing, Gravy and 12 Buttery Rolls. It serves 8 to 10 people and costs $99.95 for Spiral Cut Ham, $129.95 for Prime Rib and $139.95 for Peppercorn Garlic Prime Rib.

Saltgrass Steakhouse, 3251 Silverlake Village Drive: The Thanksgiving Family Pack costs $79.99 and serves four. It includes Roasted Turkey Breast, Dressing, Gravy, Garlic Mashed Potatoes, Green Bean Casserole, Salad, Cranberry Sauce and Fresh Bread. All items are packaged cold. Order online through November 23 by 3 p.m., with pickup times beginning 3 p.m. on November 23 through 11 a.m. on November 25.
Luby’s, 11023 Shadow Creek Parkway: Locals have long loved this cafeteria chain for easy everyday meals, and the holidays are no different. Choose from an assortment of selections available for Thanksgiving takeout. Meals are fully cooked and include reheating instructions. See the full menu and order online at least 48 hours in advance.
The Signature Family Feast serves 10-12 for $104.99 and includes a choice of Whole Roasted Turkey, Whole Roasted Turkey Breast, Whole Spiral Sliced Ham or Whole Deep Fried Turkey ($10 extra), plus two quarts of Cornbread Dressing, one pint of Cranberry Sauce, one quart of Giblet Gravy, one dozen Dinner Rolls and one Pumpkin Pie.
The Select Family Feast serves 4 to 6 for $74.99 and includes a choice of Roasted Turkey Breast or Spiral Sliced Ham plus one quart of Cornbread Dressing, one pint of Cranberry Sauce, one pint of Giblet Gravy, one dozen Dinner Rolls and one Pumpkin Pie. Add an extra pie to Holiday Package for just $14 ($4 extra for Luby’s Famous Pecan Pie).
