Celebrate a Fresh Start With a Festive New Year’s Day Brunch at Rainbow Lodge!
With new years come fresh beginnings. Join us in the fireplace-lit comfort of Rainbow Lodge to contemplate the possibilities of 2019 over Executive Chef Mark Schmidt’s festive New Year’s Day Brunch menu. Seatings are available between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m.
First off, we’re honoring southern tradition and summoning good luck for the entire year with essential Black Eyed Peas simmered with meaty ham hock and garden greens. After that, choose your path. Go for a hearty morning meal with egg dishes such as the Field Breakfast platter with two fried eggs topped with ranchero sauce, Venison & Pistachio Sausage Patties, Rösti Potatoes with Cheddar and Brioche Texas Toast or satisfy lunchtime hankerings with beautifully executed signature dishes like Pan-Seared Rainbow Trout with lump crab, Pecan Brown Butter, Crispy Sweet Potato Curls, roasted garlic and sautéed kale.
Of course, there’s a great selection of bubbles for celebrating the new year, too. Beverage director Marc Borel’s wine list was just named one of the best in the state by Texas Monthly and he’s handpicked some of the best Champagne and sparkling wines from all over the world. In addition, there are $5 mimosas and our Texas Bloody Mary, as well as a great assortment of The Lodge’s festive holiday cocktails, including hot buttered rum, eggnog and milk punch.
Please note that Rainbow Lodge is only offering brunch service on New Year’s Day.
