For its July 2018 special, Antone’s Famous Po’ Boys has rolled out a warm dish accompanied by a creamy sauce long known for its cooling properties. This month’s special is housemade falafel nestled in a warm pita then topped with cooling tzatziki, fresh vegetables and feta. A refreshing, Mediterranean-style bulgur wheat and romaine salad comes alongside. It’s $8.45 and only available for a limited time, so enjoy now while you can!

Of course, Houstonians have long visited for the namesake dishes: Antone’s Famous Po’ Boys! The cool, refreshing sandwiches are ideal for on-the-job or even just picking up for a no-cook dinner. (At this time of year, it’s best to not have to heat up the kitchen!) The list includes The Original with ham, salami, provolone, Antone’s legendary chow-chow, mayonnaise and pickles; the Super Original (same ingredients as the original but with more meat and cheese!), Turkey & Swiss, Tuna and the recently returned classic, The Piggy with ham salad.
