Houston Restaurants Open And Closed After Hurricane Beryl — Updated

Holler Brewing Co.

Update, 7/10/24: Most Houston restaurants have reopened, so consider this list outdated. Some are still closed, so we do recommend calling ahead or checking the restaurant’s social media before you head out.

As Houston weathers another beat-down courtesy of Hurricane Beryl, as of 10 a.m. on Monday, July 8, almost 2 million homes and businesses are without power. During the storm, people should stay inside and stay safe. However, once the weather clears, Houstonians without electricity are going to be in search of a hot meal, something nice to drink, and, ideally a place to charge their mobile devices. Conversely, many restaurants will also be without power, so here’s our running list of places that are open or closed today.

In a bit of good fortune, many restaurants are closed on Mondays anyway, so the storm may not constitute an interruption in business. We’ll only note closed restaurants if they aren’t normally closed on Mondays.

This is a running list that will continue to be updated until 6 p.m. on Monday, July 8. Should there be significant closures, we will have a new article for Tuesday, July 9. To report your Houston food or drink business open or closed, please email us.

Please note that during weather emergencies, we get many reports. We include all that we can but cannot promise to get to all requests.
