Gather your girls — and anyone else who loves Japanese culture and pink-themed treats and sweets. The ridiculously cute Hello Kitty Café Truck is returning to First Colony Mall at 16535 Southwest Freeway in Sugar Land on October 5 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. It can be found near the Pottery Barn entrance. The truck has made an annual stop in Sugar Land since at least 2017.
Fans of the Sanrio character (which is apparently not a cat) can purchase a plethora of exclusive (but not inexpensive) merchandise, such as enamel pins, canvas totes, café cushions, stainless steel bottles and apparel. There are also themed treats: madelines (French, cake-like cookies), macarons, a lunchbox filled with confetti (multicolor sprinkles) popcorn), four-piece boxes of mini-cakes (petit fours) and giant sugar cookies. For every $25 spent on food, customers get a free Hello Kitty Cafe pink mini-tote while supplies last.

Before heading to Sugar Land (the name is rather appropriate for this truck), note that only credit and debit cards are accepted; no cash.
After its Sugar Land stop, the Hello Kitty truck’s next destination is on October 12 in Lubbock. To date, the café on wheels has stopped in more than 80 cities since the tours started in 2014. Sanrio fans can keep up with the truck’s tour schedule on the website.
