Chef Brandon Silva’s “Thyme & Place” dinner in August, a collaboration with chef Ben McPherson and an homage to the time Silva spent exploring world-class restaurants in Copenhagen and Denmark such as Noma, was such a success that he is hosting follow-up TONIGHT (Monday, November 7). Silva, who is the culinary director at Wooster’s Garden, informs us that there are a few tickets still available.
This time, he’s collaborating with chef Nathan Lemley of Parkside restaurant in Austin on a six-course meal being held at Good Dog Houston’s new Montrose location at 1312 West Alabama. Two snacks are included and drink pairings are optional.
Here’s tonight’s menu:
- Poached Mussels, Swiss Chard, Egg Yolk
- Rohan Duck Terrine, Mustard, Green Peanut
- Veal Shoulder, Kohlrabi, Parsley
- Pork Neck, Chestnuts, Apple
- Kumquat, Pear, Apple
- Sweet Potato, Smoke Maple, Chicory Root
The cost is $120 for the drink-included option and $85 without. (Beverages, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic, can be purchased individually onsite.) Buy tickets online stat, because dinner starts at 5:30 p.m.
