WHO: MAX’s Wine Dive on Washington
WHAT: In honor of Texas Independence Day on March 2nd, MAX’s Wine Dive on Washington will be celebrating this monumental day with a Texas Wine Dinner. Max’s Wine Dive is commemorating all things Texas, so expect a mechanical bull, fried mac and cheese, and wine. Patrons who are needing that rodeo fix, buckle up because there will be a mechanical bull outside of Max’s Wine Dive for guests to enjoy before their Texas Wine Dinner. The restaurant will close early for this exclusive event. For $70 a person, enjoy a five-course meal that highlights Texas culture. Each course will be paired with a William Chris Vineyard Wine.
Texas Wine Dinner Menu
Course One:
Texas Black-eyed pea soup with andouille sausage and honey butter cornbread on the side
Paired with Mary Ruth White by William Chris
Course Two:
Fried Mac and Cheese
Paired with William Chris Blanc du Bois
Course Three:
Tex –Mex Grille Campechano- Redfish fillet with capers, bell pepper, onion, and olives. Topped with white rice and potato croquit
Paired with William Chris Petillant Naturel Rose
Course Four:
Texas Quail stuffed with short ribs. Topped with a BBQ glaze. Accompanied by Yukon golden mashed potatoes and asparagus
Paired with William Chris Mourvedre
Course Five:
Dessert Trio – Blueberry cobbler, lime tart, and beignet balls filled with chocolate topped with powdered sugar
