Basil Hayden Virtual Tasting benefiting the Houston Food Bank at Montrose Cheese and Wine

For one night only, MCW will stand for Montrose Cheese & Whiskey! Montrose Cheese and Wine has partnered with Basil Hayden’s bourbon and their sister restaurant Rosie Cannonball for a virtual night of tasting and fun with all proceeds donated to the Houston Food Bank.
Adam Harris, senior American whiskey ambassador for Beam Suntory, will guide participants through the history of Jim Beam Distillery and Basil Hayden’s bourbon while guests sip on their own bourbon and a cocktail made by Goodnight Hospitality bar manager Alex Negranza. MCW’s cheese monger Shannon McCracken will guide guests through the cheese-making process of Utah-based cheesemaker Beehive’s “Pour Me a Slice,” which is made with Basil Hayden’s bourbon.
The $50 kit for this tasting includes a 375mL bottle of Basil Hayden Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey, cocktail mixer by Alex Negranza (yields 2-3 servings), 4oz of “Pour Me a Slice” by Beehive, Basil Hayden chocolates, handmade one-of-a-kind grained wooden boards and a Zoom link for the class.
