Winter is “our season” at Rainbow Lodge—and we are wild about Sundays! That’s the day of our best dining deal: Sunday Supper. In addition to the regular menu, our casual, come-as-you-are evening meal features a comfort food special and half-price wines by the glass after 5 p.m.
For only $15, indulge in one of Executive Chef Mark Schmidt’s homestyle dishes. Past Sunday Supper offerings include chicken piccata, chicken fried steak and herb-and-garlic-stuffed pork loin. Each entrée comes with perfect accompaniments, like mashed potatoes and green beans. It’s the perfect way to wrap up the weekend.
Diners who prefer to visit during the day can enjoy Sunday Brunch from 10:30 a.m. until 2 p.m. Mimosas are only $2 each or try specialty cocktails like the Texas Bloody Mary made with Dripping Springs Vodka and jalapeño-stuffed olives and served in a salt-and-pepper rimmed glass.
The a la carte brunch menu includes the all-time customer-favorite Slow-Smoked Duck and Andouille Sausage Gumbo with Wild Rice Pilaf. There are also crowd-pleasing entrées like Brioche French Toast with Caramelized Bananas, Walnuts, Warm Maple Syrup and Peppered Bacon or Shrimp & Grits with Andouille Sausage and White Cheddar Organic Grits.
Rainbow Lodge is open Tuesdays through Fridays from 11:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday dinner service is from 5:30 to 10 p.m. On Sundays, “The Lodge” is open from 10:30 a.m. until 9 p.m.
