We normally only publish articles about food and beverage in the Houston area, but we’re making an exception to document an exceptionally bad time.

Here are first-hand photos and videos from our readers that show the mind-boggling flooding in the Houston area caused by Hurricane (now tropical storm) Harvey. It is destroying homes, damaging businesses and even washing away roads.

All photos and videos have been used with permission and remain the property of their owners. We will add to this gallery as time allows today. Readers are welcome to submit additional photos or video links, but please note we must have permission from the photographer in order to consider publishing his or her work.
